3D model of observation record of animal-shaped clay replica (Bibi 4 site, Chitose City)
I created a 3D model of the observation record of the animal-shaped clay replica (Bibi 4 site, Chitose City) exhibited at the Chiba Prefectural Museum Special Exhibition “Excavated Japanese Archipelago 2024”. When I looked closely at the 3D model, it looked like a flying water bird. I enjoyed thinking about the relationship between the clay figurines excavated at the same site and this animal-shaped clay product.
3D model of the observation record of the clay figurine (Bibi 4 site, Chitose City)
I created a 3D model of the observation record of the clay figurine (Bibi 4 site, Chitose City) exhibited at the Chiba Prefectural Museum's special exhibition “Excavated Japanese Archipelago 2024”. The clay figurine's face is a prayer face that looks up to the sky and has a non-stylized facial expression. I imagined that this clay figurine was a tool to pray for the repose of family members in heaven (the afterlife).
3D model of observation record of ammonite fossil (Bibi 4 Site, Chitose City)
A 3D model of the observation record of the ammonite fossil (Bibi 4 Site, Chitose City) exhibited at the Chiba Prefectural Museum's special exhibition “Excavated Japanese Archipelago 2024” was created. It was brought from the Urakawa region, more than 100 km away. From the holes in the fossil, it is possible to imagine how it was placed on a stick and displayed on an altar.
