 Visiting the 2025 Excavation Report Exhibition at the Kasori Shell Mound Museum

I visited the Kasori Shell Mound Museum and viewed the 2025 Excavation Report Exhibition. The latest results of the academic excavation survey, which began in 2017, are on display. Pottery, clay figurines, stone tools, and other artifacts excavated from the North Shell Mound are exhibited.

加曽利貝塚博物館を訪問して令和7年度発掘調査速報展を観覧しました。2017年から始まった学術発掘調査の最新成果が展示されています。北貝塚から出土した土器、土偶、石器などが展示されています。

北斜面貝層は主に縄文中期の所産ですが、今回調査で柱穴群から縄文後期の鉢形土器が出土し、柱穴群の時期が縄文後期の可能性が高まったことが報告されています。
