3D Observation Model of an Animal-Shaped Clay Artifact (Attributed to Kasori Shell Midden)
I created a 3D observation model of the animal-shaped clay artifact (attributed to the Kasori Shell Midden) currently on display at the Kasori Shell Midden Museum's special exhibition, "Treasures of Chiba." This was the first time I had seen the side of the artifact featuring two holes in person; upon viewing it, I felt certain that it must be a clay whistle capable of playing a melody.
加曽利貝塚博物館の企画展「ちばの宝物」で展示されている動物形土製品（伝 加曽利貝塚）の観察記録3Dモデルを作成しました。この遺物の2つの孔が開いている面をはじめて実見しました。メロディを奏でる土笛であるに違いないという感想を持ちました。

学芸員のコメントが楽しいです。
以前の展示（2024.08、加曽利貝塚博物館企画展「縄文時代の土偶の顔」）では今回展示とは反対側の孔のない方でしたが、今回は2つの孔が観察できました。メロディを奏でる土笛であるに違いないという感想を持ちました。
