I observed the human face decoration pottery (Teradoko No.2 site,Hokuto City) with a 3D model. Exhibited at tha Yamanashi Prefectural Archaeological Museum Reiwa 4th Spring Exhibition “Jomon people who draw their hearts-The world of pottery with human face and clay figurines-“. It is a pottery from the beginning of the middle Jomon period, and the eyes and mouth of the human face decoration are drawn with straight lines due to piercing , and the nose is drawn with points due to piercing.

人面装飾土器（北杜市寺所第2遺跡）を3Dモデルで観察しました。山梨県立考古博物館企画展「心を描く縄文人」展示土器です。縄文中期初頭の土器で、人面装飾の目と口は水平線、鼻は点で描かれています。

人面装飾

顔下半輪郭線が細かい刺突3重線のある太い隆帯とその内側の4番目の刺突線で描かれています。目、口が直線状に施された刺突で、2つの鼻孔がそれぞれ刺突1点で描かれています。おでこから上の表現はありません。中期中葉にみられるつり目や丸い口などの特徴ではありません。また人面が土器口縁部に直接描かれているので、人面が斜め下を向いていて、土器利用者から見ると見づらい表現です。
