 3D Observation Record Model of Broken Stone, Hammerstone, and Base Stone (Kamimiyatadai Site, Sodegaura City)

I created a 3D model of the observation record of the stone exhibited at the Chiba City Archaeological Research Center's special exhibition, "The Mysterious Late Jomon Period."

Chiba is known as a prefecture without stones. Around the end of the Late Jomon period, a geological outcrop containing large pebbles was discovered, and its use began. However, due to the collapse of the distribution network, these stones were not distributed. This is the context in which these stones are exhibited.

千葉市埋蔵文化財調査センターで開催中の特別展「謎多き縄文晩期」で展示されている石材の観察記録3Dモデルをつくりました。

石なし県といわれる千葉で、縄文時代晩期末頃、大きな礫を含む地層露頭が発見されて利用が始まったけれでも、ネットワーク崩壊により流通しなかったという文脈で、この石材が展示されています。

石なし県といわれる千葉で、君津・市原地域に分布する上総層群万田野層には大きな礫を含む層があります。縄文時代晩期末頃この露頭が発見されて利用が始まったけれでも、当時ネットワーク崩壊により流通しなかったという説明の中で、この石材が展示されています。
