 3D spatial distribution of Agamadai-style and Nakabyo-style pottery

A prototype 3D spatial distribution model of the Atamadai-style and Nakabyo-style pottery in the shell layer on the northern slope of the Ariyoshi Kita Shell Mound was developed. It expresses how pottery thrown from the top of the valley is distributed downstream along the gully channel.

有吉北貝塚北斜面貝層における阿玉台式土器・中峠式土器の3D空間分布モデルを試作しました。谷頭部から投げ込まれた土器がガリー流路に沿って下流まで分布している様子が表現されています。

集落が乗る台地面近くのガリー谷頭部から投げ込まれた土器がガリー流路に沿って下流まで分布している様子が表現されています。下流域にはそれとは別に分布する土器があり、水場として利用されていた跡のようだと推測しています。
