Distribution of wild boar jawbones in the shell layer on the northern slope of the Ariyoshi Kita shell mound
A distribution map of wild boar jawbones excavated from the shell layer on the northern slope of the Ariyoshi Kita shell mound was created. There are two areas of high concentration, near the head of the gully and downstream of the gully, which may be related to the distribution of other remains. It is assumed that wild boars were preferred and eaten during ritual activities in the shell layer on the northern slope.
有吉北貝塚北斜面貝層から出土したイノシシ顎骨の分布図を作成しました。ガリー谷頭付近とガリー谷下流の2箇所に分布密集域があり、他の遺物分布と関連しそうです。北斜面貝層での儀礼活動でイノシシが好まれて食べられたと想定します。

北斜面貝層から多数のイノシシ顎骨が出土していて、儀礼的活動の中でイノシシが好まれて食べられたことが想定されます。分布を見ると、ガリー谷頭部近くとガリー谷下流部の2箇所に分布密集域があり、散乱人骨密集域や装飾品密集域と分布上関連すること想定できますので、次の記事で分析します。
