Wisteria flowers along the Hanami River moat

Every year from late April to early May, many wisteria flowers bloom along the Hanami River, adding color to the scenery of the river. It is a specialty of Hanami River moat. Because the color of the wisteria flowers is light purple, it is difficult to fully convey the splendor of the scenery in photographs, but it is very wonderful when you see it in person.

花見川堀割では例年4月下旬から5月初旬にかけて多数の藤の花が咲き、川の風景を彩り引き立てます。花見川堀割の名物です。藤の花の色が淡い紫色であるため、風景としての写真ではその見事な様子を伝えきることは困難ですが、現場でみるととても素晴らしいものです。庭園の園芸種とは異なり、野趣ある美しさです。今年（2023年）は例年とくらべて満開になるのが10日程はやく、4月21日現在満開となっています。

花見川サイクリングロードのあちこちに藤の花が散らばっています。
