 3D model of observation record of stone pendant (Kasori shell mound, Chiba city)

A 3D model of the observation record of a tiny (approximately 2cm long diameter) stone pendant excavated from the site of a late Jomon dwelling (Angyo 3b style period) at Kasori shell mound, Chiba city was created. The round hole through which the string passes and the surrounding area are intricately processed, giving the impression of a modern industrial product.

千葉市加曽利貝塚の縄文晩期住居址（安行3b式期）から出土した微小（長径2㎝程）な石製垂飾品の観察記録3Dモデルを作成しました。紐を通す丸孔とその周辺の加工が精緻で、現代工業製品のような印象を受けます。

2025年5月17日に千葉市埋蔵文化財調査センターで開催された千葉縄文研究会の午前の部で展示された多数遺物の中で、この石製垂飾品が最小の遺物でした。長径2㎝程で、紐を通す丸孔とその周辺の加工が精緻で、現代工業製品のような印象を受けます。
