Technical Data: 3D Model of the Distribution of Spiral and Trident Patterns on Katsusaka-style Pottery (Omatsu Site, Kashiwa City) (Half-section)
I had fun creating a 3D model that simulates the distribution of spiral and trident patterns on Katsusaka-style pottery (Omatsu Site, Kashiwa City) (Half-section). I previously attempted the same thing with the wild boar line engraving on Kasori EIV-style pottery.
Observing the Patterns of Katsusaka Pottery (Omatsu Site, Kashiwa City)
The Katsusaka pottery (Omatsu Site, Kashiwa City), on display at the special exhibition "Shining! Kashiwa's Jomon All-Stars" (Kashiwa City Local History Exhibition Room), features two distinct patterns. I observed the patterns on this pottery by comparing the GigaMesh Software Framework unfolded diagram with a 3D model.
3D Observation Record Model of Katsusaka Pottery (Omatsu Site, Kashiwa City)
I created a 3D model of the observation record of Katsusaka pottery, which is currently on display at the historical exhibition "Shining! Kashiwa's Jomon All-Stars" (Kashiwa City Local History Exhibition Room). This is a rare piece of pottery, with spiral patterns and triangular compartment patterns covering half of each side. I was able to create a 3D model with minimal difficulty. I plan to analyze the GigaMesh Software Framework expansion diagram in the future.
